Methodology

How the courses are made

What the app does between you typing a question and you reading the first card.

It plans first

When you ask a question, the app starts by writing an outline for the whole course: the chapters, and what each card should cover. Only then does it write the cards. Planning first is what stops card 30 repeating card 3.

One idea per card

Each card covers one thing, like an idea, an event or a comparison. If something needs more room, it gets two cards.

Charts where they help

Most cards are text. When something’s easier to follow as a timeline, a table or a chart, the card uses one.

Quizzes

Every 10th card is a quiz on the 9 before it. Trying to remember something does more for learning it than reading it again.

Where it falls short

AI gets things wrong. Treat a course as a good introduction, and check anything important somewhere reliable, especially anything medical, legal or financial.

Try it free

The first chapter of every course is free.

Free to try. No card needed.
